OSPathNetConstruct not working

The first command is running fine with passing the server as got from lotus script fn db.Server and database as db.FilePath

VC# code
nsf = session.GetDatabase(strServer, strDatabase, false);

But the second is not working and i get path as all blank
String path = new String(' ', 1024);

NotesEntries.OSPathNetConstruct(0, strServer, strDatabase, path);
